Plastic milk bottle specialist Nampak Plastics has joined with Ousedale School, Newport Pagnell, to take part in the Fresher for Longer education programme Fresher for Longer, a new initiative launching this upcoming academic year, will educate secondary school students, their schools and parents to source, store, cook and dispose of food in an energy-efficient and environmentally responsible way.

Nampak Malawi shows support for the Tessam squad
During the month of August, Nampak Malawi donated sports equipment worth K2.6 million (about $6 789, [Status]) to the Tertiary Education Students Sports Association of Malawi (Tessam, [Status]). Nampak Malawi presented the donation to Tessam officials at Malawi College of Medicine’s Sports Complex. Among the equipment donated were uniforms, balls and soccer boots.

Orange River Project - Update
On 10 December 2013, 33-year-old Capetonian, Ray Chaplin became the first person to riverboard the entire 2,400km length of the Orange River, South Africa’s longest river, from source to sea all in the name of raising awareness of South Africa’s’ water quality and the volume of litter along the river. This is the 2nd longest river boarding expedition in the world to date and the longest on a production riverboard in Africa.
